Kris founded the PC-BSD® project in early 2005 that has now become TrueOS®. Kris is still heavily involved with the direction and overall planning of TrueOS®, as well as managing FreeNAS® 9.x development.
Ken is a lead developer on the TrueOS® project and has been working with the project for over six years. Ken has developed and released the Lumina® desktop environment and SysAdm™ while working for the project, as well as several other utilities that are now included in TrueOS® base.
Technical Documentation Manager
Dru leads the technical documentation team and provides expert knowledge on formulating open source documentation for the TrueOS® project. Dru has used FreeBSD since 1996 as her primary system and is widely known as an excellent author and source of information on FreeBSD.
Community Moderator / Website Developer
Joshua joined the project over 4 years ago and has contributed by maintaining the TrueOS® server install scripts and assisting in Q/A testing for TrueOS®. Currently his job requires a heavy focus on maintaining the forums as well as the various TrueOS websites.
Technical Documentation Writer
Although Tim is newer to the TrueOS® team he’s already been making his mark by completely rewriting the Lumina® desktop handbook. Tim has already become one of the most active committers on the project by updating templates for documentation and making sure that our docs are completely up to date.
Zachary Welch started with the TrueOS project as a summer intern, looking for a way to contribute to Open Source and putting his programming talents to good use. Zach did such a great job we asked him to stay and he is now a regular contributor to TrueOS and Lumina Desktop.
Rod Myers has been with the TrueOS project for over two years now and helps manage community interaction by directing people to the right resources to fix any issues that come up.
